2012 Fall NEO Off Road Jamboree

  • ATV's, Motorcycles, Jeeps & 4x4's, will all have access to over 200+ private acres of wooded trails including water crossings, hill climbs and other obstacles in this AMA santioned event.
  • The NEO Jamborees are excellent for the beginning Jeeper and ATV/MC riders to get their feet wet while still providing riders & drivers of all skill levels a great day of fun.
  • ATV’s and Motorcycles will have full access to a full size TT Track and motocross track to test their skills.
  • Designated "VIP playtime" will be provided for Jeeps and full size 4x4's to access the motocross track but the TT track is off limits at this time due to the 2012 race season.
  • The trail leaders from Lake County Off Road will be holding driver/rider meetings starting promptly at 8:00AM be sure to be at the meeting to pick up the trail map and schedule of events for the day.
  • A beginners basics of 4x4 class will start at 8:30 AM for all beginners or any person who has never participated in a basics class or had the opportunity to ask questions of other off roaders and wanted to. At the conclusion of the meeting drivers can strike out and explore on their own or the beginners can join the instructors and guides for a low impact ride on the trails where the only thing that gets dirty will be your wheels. If your new to Jeeping/4x4's and don't want to risk damaging your machine this is the place for you. Please meet promptly in the pavillion as the  basics of 4x4 training classes are expected to fill up.
  • This falls exhibitors and sponsors include; Adventure Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram , 4-Wheel Parts Cleveland, HMF performance exhaust, K3offroad (onsite mechanic) and several others. Check back as we will post the others soon as we receive confirmation of their attendance
  • Covered Bridge Tours -  Back by popular demand, Jeeps/4x4's and any street legal vehicles interested in a fall tour of 3 of Ashtabula counties covered bridges can meet the tour guides from Lake County Off Road at the pavillion for a prompt 2:00PM departure. Each vehicle will be given a map and information on the 3 bridges we will be touring. This will be a 2 hour off-site event. Bathrooms are available at our last stop. Don't miss the opportunity to see and drive across the longest covered bridge in the United States right here in NE Ohio !! Be sure to bring your cameras for several fantastic photo opportunities. We also encourage everyone to bring a CB radios or handheld FRS radios for communication enroute with your guides. ## Any street legal vehicle may participate, No pre-registration sign-up required - All Drivers & passengers must have at least a spectators wrist band ##
  • Primitive camping is available and will be on a first come first serve basis. You may select your own camp site from those available when you arrive.This is primitive camping, no electricity or water is available. Multiple porta-pottys will be onsite. (2) persons and (2) vehicles per site. Small fires are permitted.  For those camping purchase the Camp Site Pass which you will turn in during check in for your overnight wrist bands and a dash board camping plaque. All charges for camping go directly to cover the costs of porta-pottys, trash pick-up and general park maintenance after the event.
  • Food and drink service will be available for purchase from our favorite mobile gourmet restaurant Gobble Gobble. Lunch time specials will be available from 11:30AM until 1PM along with several other tasty treats through out the day and into the early evening.
  • The Boy Scouts will be once again hosting a pancake breakfast for all attendees. So be sure to come hungry and show your support by purchasing breakfast. The scouts will also be available walking around throughout the event with their coolers full of sodas, water and candy.
  • As always Kids 10 and under ride for free
  • 50/50 Raffle and reverse raffle for prizes with proceeds going toward the continuing fight for trails here in NE Ohio and to next years event.
  • Evenings entertainment will include a large Bon Fire (weather permitting) and we are also considering movie night and/or open mic night with possible special musical guest(s) in the pavilion..... If you play an instrument bring it along just in case.
  • This event is open to the public and ALL clubs and groups. If you are part of a large group designated camping areas can be reserved so all your members can be together. Simply send an email request, with the type of vehicles, total number of vehicles, any campers and number of people camping to - [email protected]
  • As has been done in the past, the majority of each rider/driver admission will be set aside to support future LCOR and NE Ohio events and for general trail preservation opportunities by Lake County Off Road and the OMTA throughout Ohio but especially here in NE Ohio.
  • A very limited number of Driver/Rider Tickets will be available for purchase at the gate for an additional $5 ($30 Driver/Rider) - Passenger/spectator tickets will still be $5. CASH ONLY !!
  • This is a rain or shine event - No refunds will be issued for any reason.

** IMPORTANT - For event insurance purposes ALL full size Jeep/4x4 vehicles driver must have a valid drivers license and provide valid proof of insurance, NO EXCEPTIONS !! -  YOU WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO PARTICIPATE IF YOU DO NOT BRING BOTH. Not only is It the Law, we require it for safety reasons.  No Refunds will be issued if you forgot your Drivers License or proof of insurance.

Restrictions

All participants must be 18 years or older unless accompanied by their parent or guardian. Each adult participant is required to sign the required waiver at check-in Parents must also complete and sign a minors waiver at check in. ALL Full size Jeep/4x4 vehicles accessing the trails are required to have the state mandated minimum vehicle liability insurance. This is required and will be verified at check in.
